The grey stone country house above a rocky Atlantic bay, with dry-stone walls and a gravel path.

The main staircase with a painted banister and a tall sash window on the landing.

A brass room key with a leather tag on the oak reception desk, beside garden flowers.

A guest bedroom with limewashed walls, oak floors, a leather armchair and a sash window over the bay.

A window seat with a wool throw and a cup of tea, looking out to the bay.

A freestanding bath beneath a sash window with a view of the sea.

The guest lounge with a turf fire, linen sofas, bookshelves and tall windows to the bay.

A stoneware lamp, a book and wild heather on the oak bedside table.

The dining room set for breakfast with white linen, soda bread and windows to the bay.

The house at blue hour, its windows glowing warm above the dark bay.
